CC Pass / Point contribution
- 10-09-2015 4:59 AMTo all Members,The CC pass that we all receive is free every 12 hours, hence it costs you nothing to use and the points contributed by the use of these passes also helps the Club, your Club, to level up and achieve more benefits. This I'm sure we are all aware of and understand! However, several members are still not using their free passes, therefore, no contribution! You all benefit from free Shot Pal and free Putter Pal, so why not give something back in return...it doesn't cost you anything. For all of you who contribute and participate I'd like to say thanks and please continue, this is a small and relatively new CC, but with everyone's help it will grow stronger.I hope to see an improvement and all members being active, it's not too much to ask, and if it's not for you then perhaps you're in the wrong CC.Cheers, Brian
- Just to add my nickel (since we don't have penny's in Canada anymore)I know Eric has said he won't be playing in the CC Clash this timeBut, CC passes during the Clash are received every 4 (FOUR) hours - to coincide with a new Clash battleSo, if you do play in the clash, you can use a CC Pass every 4 hoursJust letting folks knowLuciano
- 10-09-2015 9:15 AMThanks Luciano, to point that out to everyone. I realise some members don't play every day, and that's fine, it's your choice, but even if members play a couple of times a week, it all adds up. It's nice to give something back and support your own Country Club.
- Well, after CC Clash 15 I'm guessing we all have 4 passes to usePersonally (not trying to pat myself) I have reached 100 CDPGuess I enjoy the game too much LOLSo these will be put to use, usually with 18H tourney games of some kind (that is max exp points that I can see)My biggest point to this is -Friends, using the pass is a no-brainer1) it is there every 12 hours2) it gives you a few more exp points, which is the only way to unlock higher level equipment3) using it gives the club a boost - allows more members, allows more club tourneysHow about it, all you folks - just say "use pass" when you play that 1st round of the day, whatever it happens to be (stroke, multi-player, alt or match, even CTTH)Go For It and hittemstraightLucianoPS - BTW - looking forward to the NEW Tees Blocks and Flags hahaha
- 01-10-2016 3:30 AMHi Luciano,Thanks for your post. As you and other members are aware this is an issue myself and Eric have addressed in the past, but sadly our efforts to encourage certain members to use their free passes has mostly fallen on deaf ears! ... Not to worry Clint (a.k.a. Eric) is slowly but surely taking them out...lolIt is also encouraging to see other core members and yourself included, make a huge difference to the club, for that I would like to pat you on the back ... Well done my friend. I only hope your post above also makes non CC pass users sit up and pay attention before they find themselves ejected from the club!As for the 4 passes, I, myself did not play in the event and therefore haven't received these additional passes. Your other points are spot on and for those who might not be aware, you can even use the CC pass in practice mode for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 18 holes. This way it doesn't affect your average score. In my view anyone who doesn't use their free passes are lazy, ignorant and have no real interest in the club and are simply part of it to receive free Shot Pal and Putter Pal. Apologies if this offends anyone, but until I hear an excuse for NOT using the free passes then tough! ... Rant over!
- 01-11-2016 5:40 AMExcellent point to make Bob, thank you.My view on CC Passes and point contribution is obvious! However, the question still remains, when you start a game you are always prompted by a screen prior to your round, which clearly states 'USE PASS' or 'NO THANKS' ... So, why would anyone do the latter? My own personal opinion, if you don't want to contribute, then you also don't want to help your CC to advance. If this is the case then it's much better to leave before Clint gets you! We don't ask for much ... just simply use your free passes, thanks.Eric is doing a fantastic job with this club and I'm very proud to see his efforts are paying off. What we have here is a great CC with so many wonderful members and friends. I'm confident to say that this club will go from strength to strength.A huge thank you and respect to all members that use their CC passes.Brian
